Karen has a long standing career in the equestrian industry and has been an active owner for several decades. Karen is married to Olympic gold medallist Stuart Tinney and has been a supportive spouse in all his Olympic and World Championship representations. Karen, Stuart and their two daughters, Jaymee and Gemma live at Maraylya, NSW.

Robbie has worked for over 15 years in the graphic design industry and more recently spent the last couple of years in equine management. She is the founder of Brave Art Graphic Design (see 'Sponsor' page for details on member discounts). Robbie has been involved with horses from a very young age and has a special interest in dressage.

With no support for equestrian owners in Australia, there is limited incentive to remain or become an owner. In Europe and America the riders have owners that supply, support and basically drive the sport. The genuine need to bring this group of owners, supporters and riders together in Australia is why Club Equus was founded.
